Liora 3-Petal Flower LED Ceiling Light – Black, 52 cm, 36W Cool White

A sculptural bloom of light that lifts the whole ceiling

Most ceiling lights fade into the background. Liora is the one your guests look up at. Three sweeping black petals curl around a slim round canopy, each edged with a glowing acrylic strip, so the fitting looks like a modern flower opening across your ceiling. Switched on, it fills the room with bright, crisp cool white light. Switched off, the bold black outline still reads as a striking piece of contemporary design.

At 52 cm across but only 8 cm deep, it sits close to the ceiling, which makes it a brilliant choice for UK homes with standard or low ceilings, from Victorian terraces with original cornicing to new-build flats where a hanging pendant would feel too low. It brings the presence of a statement light without anyone needing to duck under it.

The 36W integrated LED delivers 6500K cool white light, a clean, daylight-style white that keeps rooms bright and makes it easy to read, cook and work. There are no bulbs to buy or replace.

Key features

• Three-petal flower design: a bold black frame with glowing acrylic inner edges for a modern, sculptural look.
• Slim, flush fit: just 8 cm deep, so it is ideal for rooms with lower ceilings.
• Bright cool white light: 36W integrated LED at 6500K, suggested for rooms of approx. 15–30 m².
• No bulbs needed: the LED light source is built in, so there is nothing to change.
• Even, glare-reduced glow: the acrylic diffuser softens the LEDs for a comfortable spread of light.
• Compact 21 cm canopy: neatly covers a standard UK ceiling rose position.

Where will it look best?

• Living room: a confident centrepiece above the sofa or coffee table that gives the room real personality. Explore more living room lighting.
• Kitchen and dining room: bright, clear light for cooking, homework and family meals. See kitchen lighting or dining room lighting.
• Hallway and landing: sits close to the ceiling, so it works well where headroom is tight. Browse hallway lighting.
• Home office or study: cool white light helps keep you focused on work and reading.
• Bedroom: a stylish main light for children's rooms or guest rooms. See our bedroom lighting.

Tip: cool white (6500K) is at its best in kitchens, studies and hallways. For a cosier evening feel in a bedroom or lounge, pair it with a warm white table or floor lamp, and centre it in the room so all three petals can be seen clearly.

Installation

This light is hardwired to your mains supply, so it should be fitted by a qualified electrician in line with UK Building Regulations (Part P in England and Wales). Always switch off and isolate the power at the consumer unit before installation, cleaning or maintenance.

Care

Switch off and allow the light to cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid water, sprays, abrasive pads and household cleaners, which can mark the acrylic.
