Choosing a bulb

The lamp takes one standard E27 screw bulb, which is not included. A warm white LED around 2700K gives the soft amber pool of light shown in the photos. Cooler bulbs will work but lose the warmth that suits a bedside. Please check the maximum wattage marked on the fitting before you buy a bulb.

Installation

This light is hardwired — it connects directly to your mains wiring and has no plug. It should be fitted by a qualified electrician, who should also check the wall fixing will comfortably take the 3 kg weight. It is not rated for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use.

Caring for the marble

Marble is porous. Wipe the shade with a soft dry or barely damp cloth and avoid bleach, vinegar, limescale removers and any abrasive cream, all of which can dull or etch the stone. Let the bulb cool before you clean around it.
