Three pieces of natural marble — a cup, a rounded bead and a sphere — stacked on a slim brass fitting. Lit from the inside, the stone glows warm and shows its own veining, so no two shades look quite the same. Choose the 150cm adjustable cable for a long drop over an island or a bedside, or the 50cm copper pipe for a fixed, upright hang.

Choosing a Bulb

This light takes one G9 capsule bulb, which is not included. A warm white LED G9 (around 2700K) gives the soft, candle-like glow shown in the photos. The fitting is not dimmable, so there is no need to buy a dimmable bulb.

Where It Works

• Bedside: a pendant either side of the bed frees up the nightstand.
• Dining room: a single 15cm over a small table, or three in a row over a longer one.
• Kitchen island: the 10cm and 12cm sizes hang well in a group of two or three.
• Hallway or landing: the copper pipe version keeps the drop short and tidy.
• Study or reading corner: soft accent light rather than a main ceiling light.

Installation

This is a hardwired ceiling fitting with no plug, so it must be installed by a qualified electrician. The light weighs 3kg, so ask them to check the ceiling fixing can take it before hanging — on a plasterboard ceiling it will need fixing into a joist. Indoor use only — not for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoors.

Care

Marble is a porous natural stone. Wipe the shade with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth. Do not use bleach, vinegar or abrasive cleaners, and do not soak it — these will dull or mark the surface. Turn the light off and let the bulb cool before cleaning.

Because the shade is cut from natural stone, the colour and veining will vary from the photos. That variation is part of the material, not a fault.
