Linear LED outdoor wall light, IP65 waterproof — a slim matte black exterior wall bar light with an acrylic diffuser, 8 cm wide and 30, 60, 80, 100, 120 or 150 cm long (12W–60W). A Line of Light, Not a Lamp on a Wall

Most outdoor lighting announces itself. The Vynn does the opposite — a narrow bar just 8cm across that sits close against brick or render and reads as a line of light rather than a fitting. The transparent acrylic pane diffuses the LED along its length, so what you see at night is the wall lit, not the lamp.

The matte black frame disappears against dark brick in daylight and holds a crisp edge against render or stone. Run one beside a front door, a pair flanking a garage, or a row along a garden wall.

Choose Your Length

All six sizes are 8cm wide; only the length changes. Wattage and output scale with it.

Worth knowing before you choose: the dimmable version is substantially brighter at full output than the fixed warm or cool white versions — roughly three times, at every length. If brightness matters more to you than price, size down and choose dimmable rather than sizing up and choosing fixed.

Choose Your Light

• Warm White — a softer, more welcoming light. Suits brick, timber and traditional frontages. No remote.
• Cool White — crisper and more contemporary, and the better choice where the light is doing security work as well as decoration. No remote.
• Dimmable with remote — stepless dimming and colour-temperature control from a handheld remote, plus significantly higher maximum output. The one to pick if the light serves a patio you actually sit on.

Steady or Motion Sensor

Every size and colour temperature comes in two versions. Steady stays on with your wall switch. Motion Sensor triggers on approach — useful on a side return, a driveway or a back door, where you want light when you need it and darkness the rest of the night.

Weather Rating — Please Read

The Vynn is rated IP65: fully protected against dust, and against water jets from any direction. That covers UK rain, wind-driven spray and hosing down. It does not cover immersion — do not install it where it could sit under standing water, and do not use it submerged or in a pond.

The fitting is hardwired and needs assembly. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified electrician, who can confirm whether the work is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations, certify it, and make sure the supply cable and connection are properly sealed. A well-sealed connection is the single biggest factor in how long an outdoor fitting lasts.

Care & Cleaning

Switch off at the wall and let the fitting cool before cleaning. Wipe the acrylic diffuser with a soft, damp cloth and dry it. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent-based cleaners, which will haze acrylic permanently. Check the seal around the cable entry once a year.
