Sora Travertine & Wood LED Wall Light – Rotating Reading Light

Natural stone, warm wood and a soft glow exactly where you need it

Meet Sora: a small wall light with a big sense of calm. A round shade of real travertine stone sits on a slim wooden arm, and when it's switched on, the light filters through the stone's natural pits and veins for a warm, gentle glow that instantly makes a room feel cosier. Switched off, it's a quiet piece of sculpture on your wall.

It's made for the way we live in UK homes, from deep painted walls in a Victorian terrace to a bright, simple new-build bedroom. Fit one either side of the bed instead of bedside lamps, beside a favourite armchair, or along a hallway, and enjoy how its rotating head lets you point the light at the wall, the ceiling or straight onto your book.

Choose Walnut for a rich, darker wood that looks wonderful against bold colours like forest green, teal and aubergine, or Natural Wood for a light, airy Scandi feel. Each finish comes with or without a pull-chain switch, so you can turn it on and off right at the wall.

Key features

• Real travertine stone: every shade is natural stone, so no two are exactly alike.
• Rotating head: turns through around 180° to aim the light up, down or onto a reading spot.
• Warm white LED built in: an integrated 9W LED gives a cosy, relaxing glow, with no bulbs to buy.
• Optional pull chain: pick the pull-switch version for easy on/off by the bed or chair.
• Slim and compact: just 23 cm tall, perfect for tight spaces either side of a bed.
• Two wood finishes: Walnut or Natural Wood to suit your room.

Where will it look best?

• Bedroom: fit a pair either side of the bed to free up space on your bedside tables. See our bedroom lighting.
• Reading nook or living room: place it above an armchair and turn the head towards your book. Explore living room lighting.
• Hallway or landing: a row of Sora lights adds soft, welcoming light without a bulky fitting. Browse hallway lighting.
• Dining nook: a warm accent light that sets the mood for relaxed evenings. See dining room lighting.

Tip: for bedside use, mount the light around 60–70 cm above the top of the mattress so the glow falls nicely onto your pillow and book.

Installation

This light is hardwired, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician in line with UK wiring regulations (Part P of the Building Regulations in England and Wales). Always switch off the power at the mains before fitting.

Care

Switch off and allow the light to cool before cleaning. Dust the stone and wood with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and household cleaners, as travertine is a natural, porous stone.

Good to know

• Travertine is a natural stone, so the colour, holes and veining vary from piece to piece. That's part of its charm.
• Measurements are approximate, so minor variations may occur.
• Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen settings.
